Work-In Progress.....

I have finished several items, which you will see over the next couple of Fridays... I have to space them out, as the next few projects I'll be working on for a while...

When I finished my Gray Sweater (my first ever non-square item), my pops asked me if I would knit another cardigan for his wife... he said, "She gets cold a lot, and you have such a wonderful talent for knitting that I thought it was the perfect combination." How could I say no to that. So I just cast it on Saturday at my knitting group, and I will post pictures of it soon.

Other than that, I am also working on the lavender sweater that I am knitting for myself. I purchased this yarn and pattern at Webs when I was there for my yarn crawl. I don't have a current picture of the progress on this one, but again, I will get it pictured soon! Here is a picture of the pattern image with all the yarn for the sweater. I love this yarn too! It is so soft, and wonderful to knit with... sometimes it gets a little splitty (you know, when the threads that are twisted together to make the yarn start to untwist and you pick up only part of the threads?!), but most of the time its fine.
So that's what I'm working on..
..tomorrow, I am going to see three apartments to try and find a place to live in August, so I don't have to live in a box when my contract ends with The Littles and I start my new job... Wish me luck... hopefully I will find something good :)

Love the projects and how you tell the new cardi story. I do want to see how that one comes along. g
